Overcoming low self esteem is often times missing ingredient to our live and business success.

I used to suffer from low self esteem. Badly.
I was deeply depressed. I suffered from eating disorders, co-dependent relationships and loneliness.
Often time I felt as if I was 70 years old and I had no energy left to live.

Looking back I can say, that the only thing that kept me alive during those dark times was the deeply rooted desire to have children in this life time.
(I love children above all else).

I knew that in order to be the best parent I can be I had to heal myself first.
So I set out on a journey.
In the last few years I got better step-by-step. My overcoming low self esteem and feeling good about myself didn’t happen overnight. There was a lot of healing and inner work that needed to take place. But subsequently I found greater joy and success than I’ve ever known before.
Plus I am married to a wonderful husband and we have a very energetic and creative three your old daughter.

Now, why am I telling you all this?

Many women share my experience of low self esteem. In business, especially, it’s common for women to be held back by their low self-confidence. I believe this has a lot to do with their business revenues – or lack thereof.

If you’re not happy with how your business is going, it’s time to change things around.
Overcoming low self esteem will be the best thing you’ll ever do for your business success.

Here is one exercise that has helped me the most in overcoming low self esteem. It’s called a gratitude log.

Why, of all things, a gratitude log?

It’s simple. Low self esteem comes from a place of feeling that you are not enough. It comes from a lack mentality. Gratitude works like an antidote.

Gratitude affirms the things you do have. With gratitude, you get yourself out of the lack mentality and into the abundance mindset.

Speaking for myself, when I feel abundant, I feel much more self-confident. I don’t feel low anymore.

Makes sense, right?

So what you do is, you get a nice journal and every night before going to bed you list ten things that you are truly grateful for. If you can’t think of ten, just repeat the things you are grateful for until you have ten.

If you want to do a little extra work, go ahead and close your eyes after you write down each item, and feel the gratitude in your heart and spreading throughout your entire body.

Try it out! You’ll see changes in your life pretty soon.
